Hala Raphaël-Abillama has been a co-managing partner at Raphaël & Associés since 2008. She coordinated the establishment of a national telecommunications network outside of Lebanon in Africa. She also acted as arbitration team leader after over 15 years of experience working with clients across the region. She has led teams which included cross-border attorneys in hundred-million dollars acquisition transactions. She has practiced broadly in investment and restricting matters.
Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial, banking and finance, capital markets and securities, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, technology start-ups, contracts, litigation, arbitration, international and cross-border transactions, construction, stock options and pension plans, employee benefits, franchises and franchising, joint venture and aviation as well as telecommunications.
Hala Raphaël acted as a member of the committee initiated by IFC and the office of the Prime Minister currently drafting and discussing the law on Secured Lending in an attempt to increase the private sector’s access to credit.
She is also a member of the board for several companies.
